Time to try out the meme that keeps popping up on my f-list and bringing me much joy.

Write a little paragraph about your name, why you chose it, what it means to you, etc.

Uh, well, it's simple really. Erendis is a character from JRR Tolkien's "Unfinished Tales", you can read her story in this Wikipedia article (because I'm too elsewhere to go from memory); she's not a particularly likeable character, but something about her aloofness and diginity struck me right, so I adopted her name. I added the Black without much thought, after another favourite of mine: Sirius Black of HP fame. If I remember correctly, I started using it after "Order of the Phoenix" as some sort of tribute... Er, yeah. XD


What would you change your name to, if you were changing it? [and, Why?]

Hmm. *considers* If possible I'd stick to Erendis only, because I still like it and it's sort of become 'me' after using it for so long (first time I used it was back in 2001), if that makes sense.

Hard to choose! I'll say moontear because things 'moon' fascinate me and it just sounds smooth. XD

On a random note... Just today I got into thinking just what my nearest friends and close family would say if they knew I read gay porn almost daily. The look I picture in my mum's face is priceless, the WTFness that follows might have a price, though; my dad would probably make me explain why I do it, thus embarrassing me into stammering and the like.
Friends... well. D spazzes everytime I mention anime; bad sign right there. G would nod sagely and pat me on the head, 'Yes, darling, love you too'-look on his face. M knows, but he think's I'm a weird little thing ever since that Sephiroth/Cloud comment I did while playing FF7's final battle. Of course, all the Riku/Sora fangirling I did while playing KH might have made M immune to whatever I say now. XD

But yeah... awkward. *snort*


Since I'm posting personal stuff for once, I might as well mention how Organic Chemistry is slowly eating at my brain. Amino acids and carbohydrates are almost as bad at it as raw FMA manga. I swear... (every damn day)
